FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

Many times banks or external users will need to see financial statements from an Independent Certified Public Accountant. At Dec & Benson CPAs we understand the needs of external users reading your financial statements.

Compiled financial statements are the most basic level of services that CPAs provide to their clients with respect to financial statements.  We can prepare statements under the following financial reporting frameworks.

• Cash basis.  A basis of accounting that the entity uses to record cash receipts and disbursments and modifications of the cash basis having substantial support (for example, recording depreciation on fixed assets).

• Tax basis.  A basis of accounting that the entity uses to file its tax return for the period covered by the financial statements.

• Regulatory basis.  A basis of accounting that the entity uses to comply with the requirements or financial reporting provisions of a regulatory agency to whose jurisdiction the entity is subject to.

During our compilation engagement, Dec & Benson CPAs will assist you in presenting financial information in the form of financial statements without obtaining any assurance that there should be no material modifications that need to be made to the financial statements to be in conformity with the basis of accounting chosen.
